Custom-designed LED light bulbs are available to cater to the specific needs of customers. We welcome both OEM and ODM requests, allowing the lighting functionality to be adjusted to meet the desired price points of the customer, whether expanding or reducing features.
UmeLight advanced LED Surface Mount Technology (SMT) ensures precision in operations. Following rigorous inspection of incoming materials such as LED chips and electronic components, they are efficiently mounted onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) through automated processes. With 5 SMT production lines, UmeLight achieves a daily capacity of assembling 50,000 PCBAs for LED light bulbs production.
This workshop features 3 DIP lines dedicated to through-hole assembly. Larger components of LED lights, including resistors, capacitors, transformers, fuses, and others adhering to strict certification requirements, are hand-soldered to the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA). Subsequently, they undergo reflow soldering in an automated wave-soldering machine.
After soldering, PCBAs go to the main assembly workshop with 50 workers and 6 lines. They assemble components like metal disks, LED chips, wires, and speakers to create various LED lights, including LED Lamps (bulb, filament bulb, GX53 bulb,globe bulb,candle bulb, MR16/GU10 cup lamp, PAR Light, Reflector bulb,Torch bulb…), LED panels, LED ceiling lights, LED tubes, LED downlights, LED Spotlights and other luminaires.
After assembly, LED luminaires undergo a 2-hour aging test for light stability and even light distribution. Concurrently, a High-Low voltage test is conducted to ensure durability in unexpected power situations.
In the aging test, lamps with risks are identified and removed. Faulty lights are checked on a separate line. Passed lights proceed to laser printing, where the UmeLight logo and light information are printed on the lamp housing. Customers can customize logos by providing their designs.
Prior to mass production, lights undergo reliability testing in the aging station and endure weather resistance trials in High-Low temperature and humidity chambers. Once the LED lights pass these tests and gain customer validation, prototypes move on to mass production.
In this phase, safety regulations are followed. Workers wear sunglasses, and a mirror is positioned for clear inspection of LED appearance through diffusers. Faulty LED lamps are removed, while passed lights proceed to the next stage: Packaging Process.
Once lamps pass tests and undergo appearance checks, they are fully assembled and packed on the assembly line. Workers place LED lamps into packages, creating finished products. Each carton box contains 24 LED light bulbs. The boxes are stored in our warehouse, awaiting delivery to wholesalers and end users.
